Initial Training
Iglesia Esperanza Viva is a church network based in San Juan Nonualco, El Salvador that has different campuses throughout multiple communities in the surrounding areas. After hearing about International HELP’s Community Health Worker (CHW) training through our Tonocatepeque, El Salvador project, the pastors were interested in bringing the training to their community.
Our team traveled to San Juan Nonualco in March 2024 to host interest meetings across the different communities the Iglesia Esperanza Viva campuses are in and to plan the logistics for future trainings. In May 2024 our team returned to host Community Health Worker (CHW) trainings in the first two communities. San Pedro Martir & Las Delicias are Project #2 of our Iglesia Esperanza Viva Project.
