Job Description:
International Help is seeking a graduate level intern, preferably in the area of Public Health, that will assist in the assessment, development, and possible implementation of our current international projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Specifically focusing on program development within our projects for Africa Â
- Preparing project through conducting needs assessment, research, conducting focus groups, and communicating with our local community partner in Africa
- Developing training materials, budget, schedule and other mandatory steps for implementationÂ
- Creating evaluation and sustainability plansÂ
- (Potentially) Going overseas to implement our program and train healthcare workers
- Preparing the process for monitoring and continuing communication after program completion
Qualifications and Skills:Â
- Currently enrolled in a graduate level degree program (preferably in a health related focus)Â
- Creative, detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Experience in global health work and/or program developmentÂ
- Ability to work in a group setting
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
- Able to commit a minimum of three months for the internship
