Guarnecia, El Salvador

Initial Training

Due to the rural nature of caserios (villages) in Texistepeque, El Salvador, access to a local health center is quite limited, leading to a high incidence of preventable health diseases among these communities. IHELP plans to train Community Health Workers (CHWs) across each of the six Texistepeque districts. With limited access to public transportation, our CHWs will be able to help provide health education and resources directly to their community. Guarnecia is Project #2 of our Texistepeque Rural Caserios Project.
