What //Â Trained a second group of Community Health Workers in Syria via virtual Community Health Worker Training. 24 Community Health Workers completed the training. Training was completed through Google Classroom and Google Meets. Teaching topics on “how to help and take care of a sick person”, First Aid, malnutrition, obesity and hypertension, diabetes, mental health, water sanitation, basic hygiene.
How //Â We recorded our educational videos for them to watch and keep for future reference and training, and also met with the group 3x a week for live sessions where we go over any question from the week’s lessons as well as teach more hands-on lessons such as first aid, choking, and vital signs.
